December 11, Thursday evening -- Reading Nathan R. Strahl, M.D., Ph.D.
Reading Clinical Study Guide for the Oral Boards in Psychiatry, by Nathan R. Strahl, M.D., Ph.D..
A favorite book -- The Celestine Prophesy, by James Redfield. It's a good lesson of awareness and paying attention to the positive aspects of life, and how to connect and interrelate.
He doesn't read much on his own. Right now he's studying to update his certification. He's a psychoanalyst and works with soldiers who've come back from combat.
As a teenager a book that helped him athletically --he played basketball and baseball--was Mental Training for Peak Performance: Top Athletes Reveal the Mind Exercises They Use to Excel, by Steven Ungerleider.
